Below are a few examples of sites and applications which I have developed either entirely alone or as a part of a team. For the most part I have not been involved in the graphical design of these as I am a developer rather than a designer.

Please consider that some of these are many years old and may have been redesigned or may not even exist any more of course! If you really want to look at one of these though
then you can use http://web.archive.org/web/ which will give you an idea of how a site looked way back in time. These won't
be fully functional of course in the case of ecommerce sites etc.
There are of course many internal web based applications and other tools which I have worked on which cannot be shown here for client confidentiality reasons.
This is the official site of Roland Garros. I build this from scratch after being given the designs as photoshop files. This was built using Asp.net WebForms, Vb.net and SQL Server. Please be aware that the design for this has changed since I worked on it but the screenshot to the left shows what it was like when I worked on it. The technologies used included Asp.net WebForms, Visual Studio 2010, Vb.net, SQL Server 2008, Html, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, jQuery Mobile, 51 degrees mobile device detection, postcode anywhere and SubVersion source control with RocketSVN
A fairly simple site for our local chess club. I did the complete design for this showing that although I am a developer, I am totally graphically challenged! This is built with Asp.net MVC with C# and SQL Server. The site has an admin area with various cms type areas of functionality.

Their initial category is cars, where they provide all the information you need in one location to make a quicker, better-informed decision. I worked on this application in 2013 and 2014. Technologies used were .NET 4.5, MVC 4 and MVC 4 WebAPI, C#, Bootstrap JS, AutoMapper, T4MVC, Entity Framework, Windows Azure, HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Designs, JavaScript, jQuery, StructureMap for Dependency Injection & Nuget for package management. I also used MVVM with knockout.js for rich user interfaces.

This site was well underway when I joined DotNine Solutions in 2012. I helped with varius aspects of the site including bug fixing. This is a smart phone comparison site. All the information on this site is provided by independent sources. The ratings were taken from the ten most popular mobile phone review sites as identified by ComScore. Then an independent mobile phone expert compared and analysed the results to give each phone an overall rating. All other reviews, scores and videos were provided by alaTest.
A generic and reskinnable online training presence which I developed for Eventure Internet Ltd. This is an enterprise level complete training solution which is generic and modular and can easily be reskinned for customisation for various clients. This is a one stop all round off the shelf website solution for small businesses. It allows a redesign and reskin of the visual apearance by Eventure Internet for whom we built this package after which all the functionality exists within the package for clients to completely manage all their online content using a Microsoft Word like browser based text editor. Pages are created dynamically including specified meta data along with a dynamically built dhtml menu. This was an existing site which I worked on for a company caled Pool.net. A full blown and very functional e-commerce site encorporating a complex content and product management system. This was built by myself entireley from scratch using classic ASP with VbScript and SQL Server.

A site which exists as a directory and sourcing guide to the extensive range of clothing, textiles and footwear companies in the East Midlands. Contains a fairly comprehensive content management system. This was written in Classic Asp with SQL Server.
Established in 1994, EMTEX is widely recognised as the UK's leading textiles trade support organisation. A simillar site to Emcat and has a simillar browser based content management system. This was written in Classic Asp with SQL Server.
This was a compelte site build from an existing host. Contains a medium complexity content managemnet system. This was written in Classic Asp with SQL Server.
A very nice Flash site for the famous hairdressers. Database driven content through the use of ASPTurbine - a DLL for creating Flash content on the fly.
A nice site for a finance and investments company. Utilising a variety of content management, discussion forums and other dynamic content makes this a nice interactive site. This was written in Classic Asp with SQL Server.
This was an existing site for which we added the functionality of an online catalogue. The catalogue is also administered by a comprehensive browser based system. This was written in Classic Asp with SQL Server.
A pensions company who had this site built so that employees from various companies could log on to their customised version of the site to check on the latest news and deals. For this site we implemented a members database for online searching. This database was also administered by the site owners utilising a browser based content managemnet system. This was written in Classic Asp with SQL Server.

Browne Jacobson is a substantial law firm which has a practical approach to providing a first class client service to the business, public and insurance sectors. This site is almost entireley content managed with some quite complex administration areas. This was written in Classic Asp with SQL Server.
This is a website we built for a local cat sitter. This saves people from putting cats in catteries which can be more expensive but mainly can very distressing for cats.
I built this .net e-learning application for Eventure Internet. The aim was to develop an internal enterprise training and intranet solution for all staff within the organisation. This contained a very rich e-learning content management system with sophisticated facilities to monitor students progress. This was written in Asp.net with C# and SQL Server.
This is a mini website which was produced to be a search led langing page to attract high traffic from search engines. It showcases some of the best 3g mobiles from Orange.
I joined Codemasters briefly to help the team complete a major website build for their popular F1 racing game. I also built a leaderboard score review system for an in console tourament which players could compete in. Exco InTouch is the leading provider of digital patient engagement and data capture solutions for clinical research and healthcare providers. Using a combination of software and services, Exco InTouch solutions provide simple, secure channels of communication; facilitating the collection of quality data and improving outcomes for sponsors, clinical research organizations, sites and patients. Goofy is the application at the heart of the business and was built to create, manage, administer and publish clinical studies onto a multitude of devices and platforms.
Rebates Management is a complex contractual transaction that enables buyers to ensure they get the best price for the goods they purchase and for suppliers to maintain profitable relationships that encourage repeat business. My role as a Senior Developer working within the existing, internal development team was to lead the User Interface and Interactions within the application, as well as supporting and guiding the Agile working environment.
This was a mobile app designed to run on iPads and mobile phones. It is a golf scoring system for a special type of game played at driving ranges. It was built pretty much as a one page app using lots of native Javascript along with Sencha Touch.
This was a basic brochure ware site for someone who makes and sells high quality bears. This was built using MVC 4, C# and SQL Server.
A powerful configurable solution that allows organisations to collect, process and manage Rebates effectively. A rebate is the Return of a portion of a purchase price by a seller to a buyer, usually on the purchase of a specified quantity, or value, of goods within a specified period. Unlike a discount (which is deducted in advance of payment), rebate is given after the payment of the full invoice amount.
This was a Winforms C# Application built to extract pdf and tiff files from zips stored in Oracle Blobs. These came from a legacy application and the client needed access to the zipped binary data as actual usable files as it contained many years worth of invoices and delivery notes.
VaccTrack was a large and complex system for managing swine flu vaccinations along with a similar system for anti virals. This was built with Visual Studio 2010 As an n-tier, asp.net webforms application with C# and SQL Server.
A simple but effective brochure site for a local company which offers canal boat hire and cruises.
